Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Blondies

There is really no fun or exciting explanation as to why I made these blondies.  Well, besides the fact that I wanted to make a sweet snack, and I had been drooling over them over on Hangry Pants since Heather posted it about a month ago.  You can find the recipe here.

This recipe was very easy to make, and I had everything already on hand. I skipped the slivered almonds because I’m generally not a fan of nuts in my dessert, and the chocolate chips that I used were not vegan.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Blondies

These are SO good.  They aren’t too rich, and they aren’t too oaty.  They are kind of like a cross between oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and blondies.  They really are just a perfect treat for an afternoon….or evening….or morning….I won’t judge.

Ease: A, Really easy, just your typical mix wet, mix dry, mix together.
Taste: A+, these honestly were even better than I expected them to be.   The oats were just enough to make a nice texture without it tasting too grainy, and the cinnamon gave them more of a blondie taste. YUM!

Would I make these again? Yes, definitely.
